Harbor Walk / Aquarium Wharf

Check out this really awesome building that was once the IMAX theater down in Charleston. Now converted into a building for CofC classes and some office space, this location offers great views of the Cooper River, Ravenel Bridge, Patriot’s Point and the South Carolina Port.

NorthCharleston Waterfront Park

Address: 1061 Everglades Ave.

North Charleston Riverfront Park features a large meadow and performance pavilion for concerts and shows. This is easily one of the most beautiful music venues in the region, with waterfront views of the Copper River and Noisette Creek.

The Washout

Address: East Ashley Avenue, Folly Beach

Get a one-of-a-kind glimpse of Morris Island from this great location, at the far end of Folly Beach. This 840-acre island is now uninhabited but home to a very important piece of history. A fort called Battery Wagner, was the first regiment of free black soldiers that fought for the Union.

Sullivan's Island Beach

Being the closest beach to the Charleston Harbor, you can watch ships going in and out of the port. Also, the Holy City Skyline, Fort Sumter and James Island are all within viewing distance of each other from this Vantage Point.

Folly Beach Fishing Pier

At the longest fishing pier in South Carolina, you can see most of the surrounding Folly beach and the north end of Kiawah island. Also a fantastic location to watch the sunrise over the water.

This Rooftop bar in the heart of Charleston is an Amazing place to check out the Holy City skyline as well as the Charleston Harbor.  Enjoy some drinks and tasty food in the open air while standing by the railings and peeking at the Skyline and ocean view. Definitely something to try out.

The Joe

Address: 360 Fishburn St.

Home of the Charleston Riverdogs team, this stadium is not only great for someone trying to have some fun at the Ballpark and catch a baseball game. This place can also be great for catching a view of the marsh surrounding it. If you do not have boxed seats, take a stroll around the general admission area and enjoy the 360 degree view all around!

The Battery and White Point Gardens

Address: 2 Murray Blvd.

Catch a glimpse of Fort Sumter, Sullivan’s Island, Mt. Pleasant and James Island from this great vantage point as you can get a great sweeping Panoramic views of the harbor and some historic homes.

Even the Battery park itself is a great place that has green space, oak trees and gazebos which is great to bring the family along or any visitors that you have from out of town.
